The French club at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, through the help of junior Erin Uddenberg have sponsored fourth grader Tjhiela Kalnbayi to go school in Kasai. Throughout the 2015-2016 school year, the French Club sold Hope for Kasai wrist bands and pencil cases at Lourdes. All the money collected went towards sponsoring a girl so she can recieve the education she needs- it paid, and will continue to pay, for Tjhiela's schooling and for a meal each day at noon. We would like to thank the French Club for working hard to bring education to the children of Kasai and helping us with our cause!
