Erin Uddenberg, a junior at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Miami, collected school supplies through the Lourdes Helping Hands Club to be delivered to Kasai on our mission trip. The club collected pens, pencils, erasers, markers, crayons, sharpeners and rulers in a collection box throughout the 2015-2016 school year. We are grateful for the generosity of the Lourdes girls as they collected enough supplies to provide over five hundred children with the tools needed for their education. The supplies will be delivered by Erin herself when she travels this summer on her first trip to Kasai. Erin cant' wait to to share her experience with the girls when she returns to schoo! She plans on taking lots of amazing pictures of all the children in Kabata who will, without a doubt, be excited to receive their school supplies for the upcoming school year.
