On May 10, 2014, Hope For Kasai held its first gala at the Coral Gables Women's Center in Coco Plum. Featuring African decor, good food, live music, and a silent auction, the gala raised enough funds to complete the maternity ward.
In addition to raising funds, 31 children were sponsored!!!!
